Helping, fixing, and serving represent three different ways of seeing life. When you help, you see life as weak. When you fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole. Fixing and helping may be the work of the ego, and service the work of the soul. ~ Rachel Naomi Remen
Having spent years in the wilderness of Corporate Business, I found meaningful work in the Community and Not-For-Profit sector, through my work with vulnerable people and social change.
My work now includes providing Clinical Pastoral Education for Royal Melbourne Hospital and as a freelance coordinator, as well as offering cross-professional, clinical and pastoral supervision in my private practice.
My varied working life has given me a broad and deep understanding of work - including the purpose, processes and challenges that meet us every day as we seek to lead an ethical, meaningful life.
My personal spirituality is free and open to all that speaks with the voice of love. While I have been touched profoundly by the philosophy of the Sanatana Dharma and other Eastern traditions, I am not limited to any specific faith tradition, finding my spiritual values and nurture in mother earth, mysticism, metaphysics, philosophy, sacred texts, poetry and music.
I respect and value the uniqueness of yours and every life and spirit - human, animal and plant. I seek to honour your story, to meet your unique needs, without judgement or any agenda other than to support you as you seek ways to offer your best self in service to your work and life.
We are all just walking each other home ~ Ram Das
